Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering and Events has been in operation as a Seattle catering company since 1986. Our name reflects the range of services that we offer from the height of elegance to summer picnics.
The catering business was initially begun by David Haggerty as a strictly off-premises operation specializing in formal dinner parties and tableside service in clients’ homes. David Meckstroth joined David Haggerty in 1989 as co-owner and partner in the business. David and David gained their experience working in many of the area’s finest restaurants.
FOCUS OF THE MONTH
Each month we take the opportunity to focus on one topic that relates the company’s core values. We tie the Focus of the Month into whatever we do on a daily basis – in our daily huddles and at events. We also write Applause cards to our fellow team members acknowledging their actions each month.
